As per state regulations, CMAs must complete six (6) contact hours of continuing education each year, with at least five (5) hours focused on pharmacology, provided by a licensed pharmacist or registered nurse. I began my nursing career as a Licensed Practical Nurse after completing my LPN program at Wichita Area Technical College. I later earned my Registered Nurse degree from Pratt Community College and most recently completed my Master of Science in Nursing with a specialization as a Family Nurse Practitioner. Throughout my career, I have worked across a wide range of clinical and professional settings, including cardiac care, medical surgical, orthopedic, and wound care units, post cardiac catheterization recovery, home health, and long term care.

Education has always been a central part of my professional journey. My goal is to foster a supportive, organized, and engaging learning environment where expectations are clear and students feel confident asking questions and developing their skills. I value accountability, collaboration, and the practical, real world application of knowledge.

No, there are no clinical’s for the TN Medication Aide renewal course.

There is no book.  All reading material is provided in the course.

Once you enroll and we have your full payment We Care Online will add you to the class.  You have a week from your acceptance day to finish the class along with the 6 hours.

Yes, once you have passed the class with a 70% or higher and have completed your 6-hours we will email you a certificate of completion.  It will be up to you to send your renewal paperwork to the TN State Board of Nursing.

You can enroll in our courses by paying a non-refundable registration fee up front and you can then make payments on the balance. You can make the payments any way you choose at any time you choose as long as the course is paid before the course start date.

For scheduled courses, balances must be paid in full prior to the course start date. If payment in full has not been received, you will be taken out of the course. You will forfeit your Registration Fee.
