This Activity Assistant course will provide opportunities to work in Long Term Care facilities, assisting residents with activities and social needs. No pre-requisite. Class is offered each month.

This course will provide opportunities to work in a health care setting, assisting residents with social needs under the supervision of a social worker. It is not intended to replace a registered or licensed professional who has additional training beyond the outcomes identified for this course. No prerequisite. Class is offered each month.

This course is designed for Kansas CNAs who have not met the requirement of being employed to perform nursing tasks in the past 24 consecutive months. This course consists of five hours didactic training and five hours laboratory/clinical.
