Course Description:

Three months to a better career! Our Pharmacy Technician course offers a comprehensive introduction to the knowledge and skills pharmacy technicians need for successful practice. Key areas of concentration include the role of the pharmacy technician in the pharmacy setting, an overview of medications used to treat specific body systems, a breakdown of the different classifications of drugs, and a review of the basic sciences at the core of pharmacy practice. The course involves 160 hours of online training (on your own schedule), and 16 hours of hands-on experience in a pharmacy externship.

The Pharmacy Technician course offers helpful Pharmacy Technician Certification Examination (PTCB) examination review so you'll be ready to pass the national certifying exam. We also provide information on career opportunities for pharmacy technicians and advice on getting a job and advancing in the profession.

We also offer a 45-hour Pharmacy Assistant program.

Pharmacy Technician wages start at $32,000/year nationwide, and it is an in-demand and growing profession.

  • Student is responsible for acquiring their externship site.
